What's Next? Alumni in Creative and Immersive Technologies
Curious about the career paths of Media Technology MSc alumni? This December session of “What’s Next?” will feature two alumni of the Media Technology program, Robin de Lange and Anastasia Thambwe, both active in the field of creative and immersive technologies.
With the What's Next? series we hope to inspire current Media Technology students, show the variety of paths taken after the studies, and bring together alumni and students. Editions of the series are generally organized around a particular theme. This edition is about creative and immersive technologies.
These talks are organised by Media Technology students themselves, and followed by social drinks.
Anastasia Thambwe graduated in 2022 from our program on a thesis about games for leadership assessment. She is now a Creative Technologist and Game Designer at the Digital Society School in Amsterdam. Anastasia worked on various projects for the design, development, art and management processes. Her self-taught skills as a digital artist aid her in designing and communicating about projects she takes part in.
Robin de Lange received his Media Technology MSc title in 2013. He founded the Virtual Reality Learning Lab, which helps schools, companies, students, and individual professionals use VR and AR for teaching and training. He has extensive teaching experience and he is often invited to give talks reflecting on the effects of digital technologies on our society, in particular on how Virtual & Augmented Reality can change the way we learn, create and solve problems.
