Alumni dreams #242
Russia’s dominant presence in the information sphere of his homeland, and the ideological schism between the West and Russia was what motivated Samuel’s decision to study International Studies with a focus on the Russia/Eurasia Region.
In his third year he graduated with a thesis on the protests in Belarus and their inability to lead to regime change. During his time at the BA, Samuel was a part of the FGGA Honors College and completed various internships at different embassies and large corporations. He is proud of this gained experience, but also mentions how his biggest achievement might have been managing his studies and personal life during Covid-19.
After the BA, Samuel moved to the UK to pursue an MA in Conflict, Security and Development at Kings College London, while also working as an intern for Zoetis. Currently, Samuel works as a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst. The ability to constantly work at staying ahead of risks and threats was something that intrigued him to work in this field and continue to build his career.
We champion your work in the security field Samuel, and wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors!
