Education for professionals
Each year, Leiden Law Academy welcomes over 2500 course participants. Outstanding lecturers and renowned specialists from the professional field provide legal courses and training.
Leiden Law Academy offers legal postgraduate education for attorneys and other legally trained or legally oriented professionals at various locations throughout the Netherlands. The courses on offer range from topical lectures to skills training and specialisation courses. Leiden Law Academy links the latest insights from research to practice. The lecturers provide academic depth and clarify the context in which professionals are active. Many courses provide training credits that are officially recognised by affiliated professional associations (e.g. NOvA, NiRV, NVR, NVvA, LRGD, NRGD, ABAN, GAIA, KNMG).

For legal professionals with at least three years of work experience, Leiden Law Academy offers a number of specialisation programmes:

Leiden Law Lunch
Leiden Law Academy also offers short, informative online lunchtime meetings (via Zoom, from 12.00 to 13.00) on Wednesdays. They revolve around current topics in response to current affairs in the relevant area of law. These Leiden Law Lunches last one hour. You will receive one PO training credit for participating.
Keep abreast of latest developments in your field of law
Leiden Law Academy also offers several legal webinars. Participation ensures you are immediately informed of recent developments in that particular field of law. Are you unable to attend the webinars live? No problem – almost all webinars are recorded. This way, you can still obtain your PO credits.
