Housing
Every Summer School has its own housing protocol. To see if housing is included in your specific case, please see the page of the Summer School course you are interested in.
Admission and tuition fees
The specific (academic) entry requirements and tuition fees are provided with each Summer School course. Detailed information on the admission procedure and the tuition fees is to be found the page of the Summer School course you are interested in.
Visas and permits
If you are going to study in the Netherlands as a foreign student, you may need to apply for a visa before arrival and/or a residence permit after arrival. Whether or not you need these documents depends on your purpose of stay, the length of your stay and your nationality. If you need a visa and/or a residence permit, the the contact person of your Summer School course can assist you with both, provided that you are admitted and meet the requirements set by Immigration Services.

Facilities
Leiden University provides high-quality service to the Leiden University community offering a range facilities, such as the University Library, the Leiden University Sports Centre and ICT facilities.
Transportation
The cities of Leiden and The Hague have excellent connections to all main airports (Schiphol Airport 15 minutes) and railway stations in the Netherlands. Leiden and The Hague are located in the west of the Netherlands, near the coast of the North Sea, Amsterdam (30-45 minutes), and Rotterdam (20-35 minutes). Leiden and The Hague are situated near to each other (15 minutes). Most Summer School locations are within walking or cycling distance of the city centre.
