Sarantos Kostidis is an analytical chemist with expertise in biomedical NMR spectroscopy, data processing and analysis for metabolomics applications. During the early days as a researcher he mainly worked with natural products, peptides and structure-activity studies using NMR. Since 2008 he switched his interest on NMR-based clinical metabolomics applications and method development. He is currently a senior researcher in the Center for Proteomics and Metabolomics of LUMC, where he works on metabolomics techniques in areas such as transplantation (HR-MAS NMR), obesity, diabetes, circadian clock related metabolism, etc.
