Computer Science & AI
LIACS Tech staff
At LIACS, we recognize the growing need for advanced technical support in research projects and lab education. Increasing student numbers, more and more advanced hardware and infrastructure, new demands around data safety and management, and the complexity of core computer science courses necessitate strong technical know-how. Computer science lab education is labor-intensive and complex. Additionally, there's a growing need to support researchers in their research projects and daily work in the form of maintaining and developing software, computer environments, and hardware infrastructure.

How do we work?
The team holds monthly meetings in which activities and projects among the different members are discussed and possibly aligned when needed. Updates are announced through email and monthly at the LIACS CCC meeting.
