In 2022, LIACS created the G. Rozenberg Research Award in honor of its 25th anniversary. This new award is intended for promising PhD students of LIACS.

The award consists of a prize of € 3000.00, which the prize winner can freely spend to boost his or her career. The winner will also receive an honorary plaque. The LIACS wants to reward and recognize PhD students with this prize.
