In this webinar, you will learn what a university college is, what you will study there, what makes University Colleges different from regular university programmes and get a brief introduction to all 8 colleges in the Netherlands.
Do you care about the environment and are you thinking of picking a study programme that allows you to integrate sustainability and the climate in your studies? Are you looking for a way to experience what LUC is all about, by visiting our campus, immersing yourself in classes and interactions with our students? This unique experience day around a "green" theme puts sustainability and the climate at the center. You will discover how different disciplines relate to climate challenges, and in the afternoon our students will take you on excursions around the city and nature areas of The Hague.
Continuous activities:
Did you attend an Open Day or Experience Day, and are you wondering what being a student is actually like at LUC? Do you have some burning questions for our current students? Then, this activity is the right one to figure out whether LUC is the right programme for you! By joining LUC as a Student for a Day, you will accompany one of our current students to one of their classes and get to experience LUC as a true student.
Please note: We recommend that you only apply for Student for a Day if you have already delved into what Leiden University College is all about. So this should not be your first encounter with LUC.
Would you like to attend a more small-scale, personal meeting to get acquainted with LUC? Then book an online LUC 101 meeting! You will meet with one of our student ambassadors who will present you the nuts and bolts of LUC and plenty of time to ask all your questions.
Do you want to visit Leiden University, and cannot make it for any of the scheduled events? While we encourage students to attend organized events to get the full experience and ability to speak to multiple staff members, we understand that this is not always possible. For that reason, we offer the option to schedule an indivial campus visit.
Please feel free to submit your visit request at least a week in advance (ideally a bit longer). We will do our best to match you with one of our students for a campus tour.
Please note: during exam weeks or breaks it is more difficult for us to organize campus tours, and we cannot always guarantee that a tour is possible. In addition, we may combine visitors into one tour; a surprisingly great way to meet another prospective student. You can find our exam weeks and semester breaks in this schedule.

| Student for a Day | Join a student to one of their real classes and experience LUC for yourself. We recommend that you only apply for Student for a Day if you have already explored what Leiden University College is all about. Student for a Day should not be your first encounter with LUC. |
| Individual meetings or campus tours | This is available for students who are unable to join one of our scheduled activities. |
