Evaluation and implementation of innovative diagnostics and treatment
If a new method has been developed to recognize and treat a (neuro-)psychological disorder or related behavioral factors, it cannot yet be used directly in clinical practice. First, the method should be evaluated, preferably in randomized controlled trials.

The step to embed a new procedure in the daily working method of healthcare providers, such as doctors and health psychologists, also requires research into the facilitating and hindering factors that are experienced during implementation. In collaboration with all those involved, a treatment or diagnostic method can be adapted and improved in co-creation so that this new method optimally matches the intended target group and can be used immediately after evaluation for everyone who benefits from it.
