Health, Medical and Neuropsychology
Health, Medical and Neuropsychology are disciplines that focus on researching, preventing and treating psychological and neuropsychological aspects of health problems.
The broad focus is on the relationships between biopsychosocial processes (such as cognitions, emotions and behaviour, psychophysiological stress systems, brain functioning) and health outcomes. More specifically, topics of interest are both the prevention of disease and promotion of health, as well as diagnosis and treatment of the psychological aspects of chronic somatic diseases or brain damage.
