Pre-University College Leiden

Are you an enthusiastic student who enjoys doing more besides your regular schoolwork? Do you have broad interests and an inquisitive mind? Do you always want to know the ropes and are not afraid to push your boundaries? Then the PRE is for you!

The PRE-College is specially designed for those students who seek an academic challenge in addition to their vwo high school education and already want to experience what it means to be a student at the university. The programme is therefore intended for students who can do more and also want more. Through guidance from Leiden University and your own school, you will be challenged to discover what you like and can develop your own talents.

Challenge

At the university, scientists conduct research on every possible topic you can think of. That research usually starts with a question about how the world could be put together. At PRE Leiden, five blocks of study take you deeper into the question of what academic studies are and how you can contribute. You will work on your own research and learn how the university works, so that you are completely ready to start an academic career after secondary school.
