Application and admission
Are you in 4 vwo and interested in joining the Pre-University College? Read more about the steps you need to take for your application.
Please note: Bear in mind that both PRE-College programmes are taught in Dutch. The information on this page is provided both in English and Dutch to make its contents more accessible to parents and caretakers.
Application procedure
For both PRE Leiden and PRE The Hague, the application procedure consists of the following steps.
- Discuss your interest in PRE-College with the PRE-mentor at your school. You do not yet have to be sure if you want to join or whether you want to go to Leiden or The Hague. The PRE-mentor can help you and answer your questions.
- Your school decides whether they want to nominate you.
- If you are nominated, you can apply on this website. You will need three things:
-
the filled-in application form;
-
a motivation letter written by you;
-
a permission form signed by your parents/guardians.
-
- Have you submitted everything? Then your PRE mentor will take care of the rest of your application.
- You will hear in September whether you have been admitted by the selection committee.
