Hans Franken-Lecture

A lecture that honours and commemorates Prof.dr.mr. Hans Franken, one of the founders of eLaw in 1985. This annual lecture has been given since 2018 by a prominent official or scholar in the area of law and technology. Former speakers were Corien Prins (president of the Netherlands Scientific Council for Government Policy), Janneke Gerards (professor of fundamental rights), Aleid Wolfsen (chairman of the Dutch data protection authority), Jan Kleijssen (director of human rights at the Council of Europe), and Roger Brownsword (professor of law at King’s College London).
