The LLC contributes to public leadership teaching in the bachelor’s, master’s and honours programmes and provides postgraduate training for professionals.

In this Master’s Management Public Sector (MSc.) programme, students explore the role of public organizations in tackling complex societal challenges. This program involves themes such as: organisation and management, politics and administration and policy and decision-making. The curriculum offers a specialization course on leadership and behaviour in (public) organization, offered by the Leiden Leadership Centre.
The Public Management and Leadership specialisation is part of the Master's in Public Administration. The track offers courses on effective management and leadership in the public sector. The curriculum includes courses on human resource management and change leadership offered by the Leiden Leadership.
In the Honours Programme 'Tackling Global Challenges' , ambitious students of Bachelor’s programmes in the Faculty of Governance and Global Affairs explore societal challenges through various academic disciplines. In this program, LLC offers the course ‘Public Leadership Consulting.’ Through practical assignments issued by partners of the Leiden Leadership Centre, students learn how to analyze leadership in complex organizations and to present their findings in a professional consulting report.
The Leiden Leadership Programme is an honours programme offers ambitious Master’s students an opportunity to develop leadership competencies. This is achieved through a combination of seminars, assessments and reflection exercises.
