Leiden-Delft-Erasmus Universities

Together Leiden University, Delft University of Technology and Erasmus University Rotterdam form the strategic alliance Leiden-Delft-Erasmus Universities.

The three partners work together in various fields to achieve shared goals based on a shared vision. Together, the universities, all of which have an excellent reputation, cover a wide range of disciplines and complement each other to a high degree.

The LDE partners have made their education accessible to one another’s students, giving them more opportunity to deepen and broaden their studies. The partners are also developing joint minor courses, master’s programmes, online courses (MOOCs), and other forms of education.

The Leiden-Delft-Erasmus Centres are multidisciplinary and inter-university thematic centres under the banner of the strategic alliance between the three universities. Through innovative and excellent research and education, they contribute to understanding and solving the major and complex social issues of our time. They work together with social partners and form a basis for further scientific and public-private partnerships.
