Support your faculty

Leiden Law School is committed to its international students and to advancing the learning of others. More and more alumni, friends and sponsors share this idea with us and are making generous gifts to support our ambitions.

Currently through the Leiden Excellence Scholarship fund (LExS), all donations which are given to the Leiden Law School are matched by the University.  This means that we can support even more students through their studies when you present a gift. Through this programme, a gift of one thousand Euros becomes two thousand Euros.

Priorities

Our priorities are as follows:

• Financial support for students from developing countries for participation on one of the Advanced LL.M. programmes 

• Financial support for students from ascension countries for participation on one of the Advanced LL.M. programmes 

• Establishing a corporate scholarship scheme for students from particular countries, offering a sequential study and employment contract.

We hope that many alumni, friends and sponsors will follow the example of others to help a fellow student achieve their ambition and make a difference to their life, their family and their country. 

• If 100 people donated 25 Euros per month for a year this would fund a student’s studies and cover their living expenses. With the match funding of LExS this would fully fund two students. 

• A gift of 1000 Euros would fund academic materials for two students. With the match funding of LExS this would fund four students.
