Yung-Ting Tsou is postdoctoraal onderzoeker bij de afdeling Ontwikkelings- en Onderwijspsychologie van het Instituut Psychologie aan de Universiteit Leiden.
Yung-Ting Tsou behaalde in 2012 haar MSc Linguistics aan de Universiteit Leiden. Hierna is zij terug gegaan naar Taiwan, waar ze werkte in een centrum voor cochleaire implantaties en onderzoek deed naar de taalontwikkeling van kinderen met gehoorproblemen.
Onderzoek
Haar promotieproject is gericht op het begrijpen van emoties bij Mandarijn-sprekende kinderen met een cochleair implantaat. Hierbij onderzoekt zij de verwerking van zowel visuele als vocale emoties.
