Sanneke Kuipers, hoogleraar Crisis Governance en Wetenschappelijk Directeur (WD) van het Institute of Security and Global Affairs (ISGA) van de Universiteit Leiden. Sanneke combineert crisismanagement als wetenschap met praktische ervaring als consultant. Ze publiceert over crisismanagement, institutionalisering, overleving van organisaties en verantwoording over crises in internationale wetenschappelijke tijdschriften en boeken. Sanneke heeft uitgebreide ervaring als senior adviseur bij Crisisplan BV in crisisonderzoek, evaluatie, training en onderwijsprojecten, advisering van nationale ministeries, veiligheidsregio's en uitvoerende agentschappen. Lopende onderzoeksprojecten omvatten projecten over risico- en crisisbeheer, institutionalisering van publieke organisaties, verwijten en aansprakelijkheid na crises en overleving van de organisatie.
