The Education and Supervision Plan (ESP/OBP) contains agreements about your research, supervision, training, and potential teaching duties as a PhD candidate. It should be finalized no later than three months after the start of your PhD trajectory. It should at the minimum cover the following aspects:

• The courses and training programmes you are going to follow in the context of your training as a researcher;
• Agreements concerning the form and frequency of the personal supervision you receive during your appointment as a PhD candidate.

You meet with the supervisor on a regular basis, discussing research, training and teaching. Your development is formally evaluated annually during a ‘Result and Development assessment’.
