Visit the Böhl-collection during the RAI68!
Participants of the Rencontre are invited to visit the De Liagre Böhl-collection in the Netherlands Institute for the Near East (NINO).
Visit the Böhl-collection! The Netherlands Institute for the Near East (NINO) houses several collections, including a collection of ca. 3.000 clay tablets, which was brought together in the 1920's and 1930's by Frans de Liagre Böhl, professor of Assyriology at Leiden. You are welcome to see some highlights of this collection, and to have a peek at his archives and unique collection of glass-slides on Wednesday 19 July from 13:30 to 14:15.
