The Academic Language Centre organises language courses for companies, government agencies, private clients, and students and staff members of Leiden University.

Open registration courses

You can enrol for an open registration group course or let us put together for you a custom-made language course (Custom-made Language Training).

Open registration group courses

General and business language courses are offered for all available languages. 

General Language Courses

The general language courses focus primarily on communication skills such as speaking, listening, writing and reading. It goes without saying that we also spend time on grammar and increasing the students’ vocabulary.

Custom-made language training

The Academic Language Centre also gives the opportunity to learn almost any language by means of a Custom-made Language Training. The length and contents of the course is determined on the basis of an intake form and/or intake interview, completely in accordance with your wishes. We can put together either individual or group courses. If required, the courses can be taught on location.
