LUCIS publishes two peer-reviewed book series, “Leiden Studies in Islam and Society” (Brill) and “Debates on Islam and Society” (Leiden University Press).

The Leiden Studies in Islam and Society (LSIS) series at Brill is aimed at an international academic audience, while the Debates on Islam and Society series at Leiden University Press is aimed at a broader readership. Most books in both series are available in open access. The books listed on the right also include publications related to LUCIS, but fall outside both series.
