LUCIS is directed by Nathal Dessing, who is advised by a steering committee.

The LUCIS steering committee advises on the policy of LUCIS. It currently consists of Bart Barendregt, Adriaan Bedner, Gabrielle van den Berg, Léon Buskens, Petra Sijpesteijn, and Kutsal Yesilkagit.

The executive tasks of LUCIS are performed by the director, Nathal Dessing. She is assisted by student assistant Rashed Nazrabi.
