Career prospects
Graduates of the LL.M. Governance of Migration and Diversity, depending on their bachelor qualification, will obtain civil effect in the Netherlands and will be able to access the Dutch bar
After graduation
The multidisciplinary nature of the LL.M. programme will also allow graduates to take positions in NGOs or other businesses, (e.g. HR, consultancy), governmental organisations (policymakers, policy advisors, lobbyists) and organisations in civil society (e.g. unions, political parties, research institutes) on a local, national, European or international level.
You will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to pursue a career within:
- Law firms and other legal professions – you are a fully trained legal professional who has followed a multidisciplinary LL.M.
- Ministries, Government agencies – you are a fully trained legal professional who can function in multidisciplinary environments and can translate the law to non-lawyers.
- Policy making in governmental and private bodies – you know the practical consequences of law and regulation and can advise policy makers on it from a law-in-context perspective.
