Apps for learning African sign languages

It is our goal to deliver a convenient, enjoyable, learning experience that goes beyond the basics. All of the apps are an initiative of the HANDS! Lab for Sign Languages and Deaf Studies at Leiden University, as part of the Language Socialization in Deaf Families project funded by the Leiden University Fund.

Ghanaian Sign Language app - This GSL Ghanaian Sign Language app contains over 1300 signs from Ghanaian Sign Language and their English equivalents.

GSL Grammars - This app is designed to help beginners to learn Ghanaian Sign language grammars.

GSL Quiz - GSL Quiz app has over 500 objectives to help you learn Ghanaian Sign Language.

Ivory Coast Sign Language app - This Ivory Coast Sign Language app contains over 1258 signs from Ivory Coast Sign language and their French equivalents.

Malian Sign Language app - This Malian Sign Language app contains over 439 signs from Malian Sign Language and their French equivalents.

Ethiopian Sign Language app - The application which is primarily prepared for beginners consists of 460 Ethiopian Sign Language

Sénégalese Sign Language app - Il s’agit d’un lexique d’environ 472 signes produits par des Sourds pratiquant quotidiennement ce que l’on pourrait qualifier de Langue des Signes sénégalaise.
