Anoma van der Veere is onderzoeker bij het Leiden Asia Centre aan de Universiteit Leiden. Werkzaam bij de Universiteit van Osaka in Japan, schrijft hij over internationale samenwerking en openbaar beleid op het gebied van technologie, onderwijs en sport. Zijn onderzoek richt zich op sport en onderwijs door de lens van de media, en het snijvlak van technologie en gezondheidszorg in Japan en Nederland.
