Developmental and Educational Psychology
About us
The section Developmental and Educational Psychology consists of more than 45 people, who are mainly involved in education and research.
Education
Developmental and Educational Psychology is responsible for various courses in the Psychology Bachelor's programme. In addition, we offer the Master of Science specialisations “Child and Adolescent Psychology” and "School Psychology" and the research master specialisation “Developmental Psychology”. (See our education page for more information).
Research
The main focus of our research programme is on adolescence, a key transitional period in human development. We aim to understand the various neural, cognitive and behavioural changes that occur during the period of adolescence. The programme puts emphasis on combined experimental behavioural and neural analysis of normative transitions and deviations in adolescent development. (See our research page for more information).
