The Science, Management and Innovation (SMI) group examines organisational dynamics governing the management of complex R&D projects and technology commercialisation.
Research of the SMI group examines dynamics governing the organisation of science-based ventures, the management of university-industry collaborations, and the interplay between researchers and their organisational, policy environment in shaping work. The SMI group employs both qualitative research methods and approaches based on the use of big data analytics and advanced statistical and data mining methods.
