Call for Papers: Yearbook for Dutch Book History 33 (2026)

Call for Papers: Yearbook for Dutch Book History 33 (2026). Deadline 1 April 2025.

The Yearbook for Dutch Book History publishes Open Access articles in the Dutch and English language on all aspects of the book history of the Low Countries. For the 33rd edition, to be published in 2026, we particularly welcome contributions within the theme of “Sustainability and reuse”. Reuse and sustainability have always been significant to the production and consumption of books, and these concepts have once more shown their relevance in modern society. The book historian, however, has long been familiar with the different ways in which durable materials have been used and reused in books. For the 33rd edition of the Yearbook for Dutch Book History, “Sustainability and reuse”, we delve into the history and future of the sustainable book.

Deadline for abstracts is 1 April 2025.
