Confidential advisor
The Research School for Medieval Studies aims to create a safe and trusted learning environment for students and staff. If they have concerns, especially if they experience unwanted behavior during a course or event organized by the Research School for Medieval Studies, they can contact the confidential advisor. The confidential advisor operates independently of the Research School.
The Research School for Medieval Studies is an organization that provides education for students and PhD candidates officially affiliated with the universities, faculties, and institutes associated with the research school. This also applies to the teachers involved in the education, who are not employed by the Research School but by various universities or institutes. The role of the confidential advisor is primarily advisory towards the involved student(s) or staff member(s).

Anonymity ensured
The confidential advisor reports once a year to the academic director and the board of the Research School for Medieval Studies. If necessary, she provides requested and unsolicited advice.
