BKO (University Teaching Qualification)

The University Teaching Qualifications (in Dutch: BKO) is compulsary for all university lecturers.

Teaching with(out) the BKO

University lecturers need a BKO, but there are some exceptions for recently appointed lecturers. This website explains the BKO track and -portfolio. The Leiden Learning & Innovation Centre also offers BKO training programmes for lecturers. For International Studies, the BKO contact person for tutorial lectuers are the Heads of the Tutorial Lecturers Team.
