Computer account (ULCN) and applications
When you start at the university, account services makes sure you get a Leiden University computer account, that gives you access to the software package that the university provides.
Activating and managing your ULCN account
On this page you find information on activating your ULCN account, logging in and managing and changing your personal data. If you have issues with your account or computer, you can contact the helpdesk (071-527 8888).
For safety reasons you will be requested to change your password on a regular basis.
Software and online tools
Your workplace is equipped with a basic software package, like office. This website explains how to install additional software. ICT workplace manuals are also available.
Helpdesk
The helpdesk (ICT Shared Service Centre) is available from 08:30-17:30 via (0031) (0)71 527 8888. They can also be contacted via their central helpdesk portal.
