Career paths
From the current stories of our BA International Studies alumni career paths have been distilled. Whether you already know what you want to do after International Studies or not, these career paths can give you inspiration and direction.
Dr. Sarita Koendjbiharie has distilled roughly five International Studies career paths from the Alumni dreams. These are paths of our alumni after graduation in the areas of work and master choices. Exemplifying these paths are:
- Assistant trainee Michaela Karasová;
- Junior specialist Sake Kruk;
- Associate researcher Giuseppe Del Vecchio;
- Junior consultant Roos Imkamp;
- Editor Thomas De Man.

Our first alumni graduated in 2015 and are still early in their career, which means these career paths are by no means fixed. A diverse programme as International Studies results in very diverse career paths as well, so you might create your very own 6th, 7th or 8th path. Please let us know if you think we have overlooked something.
