GTGC Lunch Seminar: Issue Complexity, Strategic Construct and Cooperation Among International Organisations
During this lunch seminar, Yanbin Ma, PhD candidate at Fudan University and GTGC guest researcher, presented on issue complexity, strategic construct and cooperation among international organisations.
About the Research
Why have international organizations concluded different types of cooperation treaties? While some of them have concluded a formal agreement, others have chosen to make a less formal statement or to cooperate within the framework of a convention. Research on international organization law and international relations fails to discuss the institutional design among international organizations. The paper argues that international organizations have constructed different inter-organizational arrangements according to the complexity of the issue they govern.
