How has climate finance changed in the past 10 years?
Join climate finance experts to discuss how climate finance lanscape has changed since 2015. During this panel, researchers will share the findings of one of the Global Transformations and Governance Challenges (GTGC) Programme's seed grand projects.
This project aimed to map the global climate finance landscape since 2015. It focused on a group of new climate financing organizations featuring selected climate goals, mini-lateral membership with a mix of public and private contributors, close relationship with the UN, and strong accountability and transparency mechanisms. By identifying and explaining the origin and evolution of these organizations, this project aims to understand their role in global finance organization and implications to climate mitigation and justice.
