What's included

The fee includes access to the course materials, a certificate of participation, an information briefing at the International Criminal Court and at the MICT (upon availability), coffee/tea during breaks with sweets, a welcome and a farewell dinner. 

Accommodation

The Grotius Centre does not provide housing. We invite you to have a look at these options for accommodation in The Hague

Course fees

The tuition fee for the 2024 session is €1550. Leiden University students, students from partner universities, and participants taking part in at least another Grotius Centre summer school, IBA ICC Moot Court or Telders Moot Court in 2024 pay a reduced fee of €1300.

Unfortunately, there are no scholarships available for this course.

Location

This programme is taught in person in The Hague, at the Wijnhaven Building of Leiden University. 

Credits

At the end of the course, participants receive a certificate of participation. An additional statement regarding the amount of ECTS credits can be issued. Please note that the document is not an official transcript and that it is the student’s responsibility to validate the course for credit at their home university. Keeping in mind that 1 ECTS equals 28 study hours, we value the Summer School on International Criminal Law to be representing 4 ECTS.
