- Throughout the academic year, classes are complemented by additional extracurricular activities, including a visit to the Peace Palace, an excursion to KLM and site visits to Airbus Defense and ESA-ESTEC. With these visits students gain an insight in the practical application of their field of study and the link between air & space law and the industry.
- Students are further actively encouraged to attend conferences and seminars, such as the EALA annual conference, the ECSL young lawyers symposium, EAC seminars and UN COPUOS. These events are excellent opportunities for students to broaden their network and get acquainted with professional working in the field of air and space law.
- Excellent student papers are commended for submission for prizes and awards.
- Lastly the programme organizes a number of social events, such as a canal boat tour, Christmas drinks, an international dinner and a barbecue. Although being less of an academic nature, these activities are wonderful occasions to informally interact and enhance the social cohesion among students.
