Are you engaged in society and have opinions on societal issues? Then Public Administration is for you. This programme focuses on public sector challenges such as the housing crisis, energy transition, and immigration policy. You will learn to analyse and address these complex issues from various perspectives. With a choice of three specialisations, you'll study in the administrative heart of the Netherlands: The Hague.
Why study Public Administration at Leiden University?
- You can choose from specialisations that align with your interests and future plans: Policy, Public Administration and Organisation; Digitalisation, Public Administration and Society; or Economics, Public Administration and Management.
- You will receive individual, intensive guidance to make the most of your studies. Due to the small scale of the programme, you will quickly get to know your fellow students, with groups and seminars limited to a maximum of 25 students, creating an informal atmosphere.
- You will study in the administrative heart of the Netherlands, where the government manages the country and collaborates with policymakers and key societal organisations to shape national and international policy.
