House rules for events
There are house rules for university locations. These house rules were broadened and clarified since November with the aim to create more space for our community to come together. For example, groups of students and/or staff can request events, such as teach-ins, for groups of like-minded people.
The organisers are responsible for ensuring that things run smoothly and that people treat each other with respect. We hope this combination of flexibility and clarity will make students and staff feel safer about coming together and talking openly about their feelings and opinions.
If you want to organise an event in one of Leiden University’s buildings or on its grounds, please follow the house rules to keep the university safe.
Within the university you can reserve rooms for educational and non-regular educational purposes, but also for events, meetings and gatherings.
