Another voyage of discovery
The Leiden Discoveries route, a tribute to the many discoveries and scientific breakthroughs made in Leiden, will be fully accessible again from spring 2025.
To celebrate the university’s 450th anniversary, the signs along the route will be updated and a redesigned website will make it even easier for visitors to embark on their voyage of discovery through Leiden’s scientific history.
The route, the initiative of emeritus professor Ton van Raan, was started in 2015 by the Leiden Discoveries Foundation, with support from the Municipality of Leiden and Leiden University. This was to mark the university’s 440th anniversary.
