Publish your data
Why should you publish your data? ... and how?
Publishing the data underlying your publications helps others to understand your research, enhances its visibility, and helps you to meet funder or institutional requirements. Moreover, if you use an open license, it allows for your research to be built upon through data reuse, increasing the value of your work. You can publish research data by depositing it in a research data repository – ideally choose a trustworthy (certified), discipline-specific repository. Several institutes in Leiden offer their own!
