Suliman Ibrahim is als senior onderzoeker verbonden aan het Van Vollenhoven Instituut voor Recht, Bestuur en Samenleving (VVI). Hij coördineert een onderzoeksproject 'The Role of Law in Libya’s National Reconciliation' dat uitgevoerd wordt door het VVI en het Centre for Law and Society Studies (CLSS) in Benghazi.
