The 27th annual meeting will be held at the National Gallery of the Cayman Islands. The theme of this year’s meeting is: “The Essential Museum – Redefining the role of the cultural and heritage sector for 21st century audiences”

MAC was formed in 1987 to allow museum and related organisations and societies in the Caribbean to share experiences and skills. Their mission is to To create a visible and accessible museum network for Caribbean museums and museum professionals to share knowledge and expertise. It’s the vision of MAC to be a viable, visible regional organization that enables meaningful collaborations among Caribbean museums through its web presence, educational programs, annual conference, and more.
