The Fernand Braudel Center for the Study of Economies, Historical Systems, and Civilizations, and the department of Comparative Literature present the two-day, spring colloquium, “Power, Political Economy, and Historical Landscapes of the Modern World: Interdisciplinary Perspectives” on Friday, April 28 and Saturday April 29, starting at 9:00 a.m. This event is held both days in the TAU Bearcat Clubroom, at the Events Center, Binghamton University.

This colloquium will feature presentations by Chris DeCorse (Syracuse University), Corinne L. Hofman (Leiden University), Peter J. Taylor (Northumbria University), Matthew H. Johnson (Northwestern University), Guido Pezzarossi (Syracuse University), Kathryn Sampeck (Illinois State University), Andrew Martindale (University of British Columbia), Eric R. Seeman (University of Buffalo), Douglas Armstrong (Syracuse University), Christopher Kurt Waters (Syracuse University), Dale Tomich (Binghamton University), Gerard Chouin (College of William and Mary) Kenneth Kelly (University of South Carolina, Columbia), Martin S. Shanguhyia (Syracuse University), Mark Hauser (Northwestern University), and Rahul Oka (University of Notre Dame).
