Daniela Vicherat Mattar is universitair docent sociologie aan het Leiden University College. Haar onderzoek richt zich op de processen van grensvorming in conceptuele termen, maar heeft ook betrekking op de zichtbare manifestaties van identiteitspolitiek en de uitdagingen van verbondenheid. Daniela doceert de Minor Gender en het vak Global Challenges Diversity .
