Benjamin Suchard is historische taalkundige met een focus op het Bijbels Hebreeuws en een achtergrond in het Indo-Europees. Zijn onderzoek richt zich op fonologische en morfologische reconstructie in alle takken van het Semitisch en de (voor)geschiedenis van de Joodse leestradities van de Hebreeuwse Bijbel.
