Alex Ingrams is universitair docent voor master- en bacheloropleidingen bij het Instituut Bestuurskunde en het Leiden Institute of Advanced Computer Science. Deze cursussen richten zich op digitale overheid, publiek management en beleid. Zijn onderzoeksinteresses gaan over de rol van technologie bij de overheid en onderwerpen zoals of we meer transparantie over kunstmatige intelligentie nodig hebben, hoe slimme stad diensten de relatie tussen overheid en burgers beïnvloeden, en het verband tussen technologie en bestuurshervorming.
