20th International Symposium on the Biology of Actinomycetes

On behalf of the local and international organizing committees, it is my great pleasure and honor to welcome you to the 20th International Symposium on the Biology of Actinomycetes (ISBA2025). The symposium will take place at the Congresshotel Zuiderduin in the picturesque town of Egmond aan Zee, the Netherlands, from June 15th to 19th, 2025. The venue, located right on the shoreline, is just a short 45-minute journey from the vibrant city of Amsterdam.

ISBA meetings have always been a unique blend of talent and experience, bringing together well-established and emerging scientists who share a deep passion for Actinomycetes. I am confident that ISBA2025 will continue this tradition, fostering a dynamic exchange of ideas and promoting global collaboration among researchers from diverse disciplines, academic backgrounds, and cultures.

The scientific program for ISBA2025 will feature 12 symposia, interactive workshops, a special lunch connecting well-established scientists with promising early-career researchers, and 7 plenary talks. Participants can look forward to exploring the latest advancements in knowledge, approaches, techniques, and applications across nearly all areas of modern biology and biotechnology.
