Xishu Li joins SBB as an Assistant Professor in Technology and Operations Management after a short stay at the Naveen Jindal School of Management, the University of Texas at Dallas USA, and with a Ph.D. in Operations Management from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, the Netherlands. Xishu's research is in the fields of operations management, quantitative logistics, real-time optimization, pattern recognition, economic modeling, and software development. She focuses on topics including capacity investment, dynamic pricing, new product launch, supply disruption risk forecasting, online product assortment, and personalized advertisement. Xishu works closely with private and public organizations in the aviation, retail, and pharmaceutical industries. In terms of teaching, Xishu develops and teaches courses in Technology and Operations Management, and Systems Optimization at SBB.
