Current research

My research focuses on the understanding of the various ways in which humans lived and survived in the coldest and harshest environmental conditions of the last Pleistocene glaciation.
I am investigating and studying the diversity of historical hunter-gatherers shelters to establish the main factors that dictate their location and design in harsh climates.
Through ethnographic studies and the creation of predictive models, I aim to locate remnants of Late Pleistocene shelters and housing solutions with systematic open-air geomagnetic surveys.
